Mawlid diba'i was written by a great ulama and hadith expert namely Imam Wajihuddin 'Abdur Rahman bin Muhammad bin' Umar bin 'Ali bin Yusuf bin Ahmad bin' Umar ad-Diba`ie ash-Syaibani al-Yamani az-Zabidi asy- Shafi'i.
He was born on 4 Muharram 866 H (8 October 1461 AD) and died Juma'at 12 Rajab 944 H (December 15, 1537 AD). He is a well-known scholar of hadith and unequaled in his lifetime. He taught the book of Sahih Al-Bukhari more than 100 times khatam. He achieved the degree of Hafiz in the science of hadith, which is one who memorizes more than 100,000 hadith with his sanad. Every day he teaches hadith from mosques to mosques.
