Medication alarms on Wear OS

Create medications and schedule reminders for the times you need them. MedTick uses Android and Wear OS alarm scheduling capabilities to deliver user-configured medication alarms on supported devices.

Alarm-style reminders can use watch audio and vibration so they are easier to distinguish from ordinary notifications. Alarm timing and delivery can still be affected by watch settings, permissions, operating-system behavior, battery state, and hardware conditions.

Reminder reliability tools

Medication alarms are a core part of MedTick. The app maintains and rebuilds eligible reminder schedules after events such as watch restarts, app updates, time changes, and timezone changes.

MedTick also includes safeguards against stale or duplicate reminder actions. Reminder status and settings tools can help you identify notification or alarm configuration changes that may affect delivery.

Local medication history

Review the medication actions you recorded on your watch, including doses marked Taken, Skipped, or Snoozed.

History is an informational record of actions entered in MedTick. It is not a clinical adherence record.

The free version supports medication alarms and dose actions for up to two active medications, seven days of on-watch history, the Tile, and the watch-face complication.

A one-time MedTick Pro purchase unlocks:

Duplicated medications start paused so you can review the copied schedule before enabling its alarms.

Privacy

Medication schedules and dose history used by MedTick are stored locally on your watch. Core medication alarm and tracking features do not require a cloud account or remote medication database.
