The app breaks down travel into individual days, which are further broken down in stages:
– Daily rolls to determine how difficult the day's travel is
– Random encounters, including environmental challenges, monsters, interesting discoveries, role play encounters, and helpful boons.
– Campfire questions to spark roleplay and character development
The app supports several different travel modes (premium feature):
– Exploration: Default mode. The party is traveling to a location and wants to see what they can find along the way.
– Race against the clock: The party is trying to reach a destination by a certain time.
– Tracking: The party is trying to track down or catch up with someone.
– Survival: The party is trying to get back to civilization.
Travel is further customized by location / environment, party level, total distance, and travel pace.
