The quiz contains 600 questions, divided into 7 categories:

• Defense (100 questions)
• Army (100 questions)
• Air and Space Force (100 questions)
• Navy (100 questions)
• Expert Level (100 questions)
• History and Traditions (50 questions)
• Foreign Armed Forces (50 questions)

The "Defense" category is general and covers all three branches of the armed forces, their history, and current events.

The Expert level includes more advanced questions for those who already have military knowledge or wish to deepen it.

A wide range of topics are covered: the organization of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the history of French defense, current events related to the armed forces, military schools, units, regiments, air bases, naval bases, weaponry, vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, warships, international organizations (EU, NATO, UN, OSCE), intelligence services, World War I, World War II, military traditions, prominent historical military figures, foreign armed forces, the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP), the Armed Forces Health Service (SSA), special forces, the Technical and Administrative Corps (CTA), and more.

The quiz includes questions adapted to all levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

The tests for joining the army as a soldier include psychometric tests, physical fitness assessments, and an interview. A basic level of general military knowledge is a plus for building a strong application and during the interview. For certain categories (specialist non-commissioned officers, officers by qualification, contract officers, pilots, etc.), the selection process is a competitive exam and also includes interviews where general military knowledge is highly valued.
