Convert linear meters or feet to sq. m / sq. ft and back
Enter a material width and an area — the app tells you how many linear meters or linear feet to buy. Or the other way around: enter a length and get the covered area in square meters or square feet.
Works for any material sold by the roll or plank at a fixed width: carpet, laminate, vinyl, parquet, wallpaper, roofing membrane, fabric and more.
Three calculation modes
Linear to area — how many sq. m or sq. ft does a given length cover?
Area to linear — how many linear meters or feet do you need for a given area?
Room — enter room length and width, get the exact linear quantity to cover it.
Metric and imperial
Metric: width in meters, centimeters, or millimeters.
Imperial: width and room dimensions in feet, inches, and fractions (1/8 to 7/8) — the way measurements actually appear on a tape measure.
Switch between systems with one tap. All inputs reset automatically to avoid wrong results.
Material presets
Common materials with their standard widths are built in — tap any preset and the width fills in automatically.
