The exhibition before you tells the story of an extraordinary journey – a journey of five decades of medical excellence, innovation, dedication and people who dedicated their lives to caring for people. Behind every image, every exhibit and every station lies a true story that shaped the development of Carmel Medical Center and left a mark on thousands of patients, families and staff members.

Along the route, you will be accompanied by an augmented reality (AR) character, who will appear at various points in the exhibition and enrich the experience with explanations, stories, historical facts and significant moments. The character will connect the exhibits and allow you to see the stories behind the images, get to know the people who led Carmel over the years and understand how each period contributed to shaping the hospital as it is today.

At each station, you will be exposed to defining moments: the establishment of new departments, medical breakthroughs, technological developments, stories of medical teams, national events, research achievements and human moments that have been burned into the memory of generations of patients and professionals.

To start the experience, scan the QR code and download the app. After opening it, point your phone camera at the marked exhibition exhibits. The character will appear automatically and guide you along the route, telling the stories and adding an interactive layer of information that cannot be seen with the eye alone.
