Originally from the Arab Republic of Egypt, precisely from the province of Lake Mahmudiya, Hassan Mohammed Saleh nurtured a deep passion for the Holy Quran from a young age. Guided by a burning desire to master the subtleties of Quranic recitation, Hassan Saleh chose to continue his learning at the Institute of “Readings”, devoting himself to the in-depth study of the “Ten Readings” of the Quran.

Sheikh Hassan Saleh was perceived differently by some of his listeners, with some describing his voice as sad and rosy, while others perceived it as soft and melodious. Despite this difference of opinion on his vocal tone, his reputation as one of Egypt's most eminent reciters remained intact. What truly distinguished him was the originality and singularity of his way of reciting the Holy Quran.

His incessant quest for knowledge then led him to the Faculty of Koranic Sciences, where Hassan Saleh brilliantly graduated with honors. Upon completion of his studies, Sheikh Hassan Saleh was honored as an imam and preacher at the prestigious Islamic Center of New York. His unique and calming voice aroused deep admiration and fervent recognition among the center's dedicated devotees.
