This book was carefully written by the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments based on the desire of the King of Egypt at the time, King Fouad I, to put a book on worship on the four schools of thought to be taught in mosques. Before that, the king had ordered the printing of the Qur’an named after his name, which is the first Qur’an that was characterized by accuracy and perfection, as said by scholars of copying the Qur’an. And the Qur’an that came after him woven it into that.

The author of this book is Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad Awad al-Jaziri, an Azhari jurist, from the people of Egypt. He was born on the island of “Shandawil” in the center of Sohag in Egypt, and educated at Al-Azhar and jurisprudence in it on the doctrine of Abu Hanifa, then he studied there and was appointed as an inspector for the Department of Mosques at the Ministry of Awqaf.
