Monotp converts your passive OTP process to active push notification. It works like magic!
When you use Monotp's Chrome Extension, it will identify your visited website's OTP request and will send it to your mobile phone as a push notification. When you Accept that request on your phone, your code will be generated on your mobile phone and send it back to Monotp's Chrome Extension. That extension will put your OTP code to the OTP text box and will redirect you to the application automatically. Simple is it?

Monotp doesn't share your secrets with any other app o even it's own Chrome Extension. Your secrets remain on your mobile phone (and sure encrypted). When you visit a page, Chrome Extension will only ask your phone an OTP for that application. Your OTP will be generated on your phone and send back to Chrome Extension without sharing any secrets.
