App Description
Decode morse code with your camera. Send via flashlight. Chat using light.
Decode, send, and learn morse code ā all with your phone's camera and flashlight. No internet required.
The only morse code app that combines real-time light decoding, flashlight transmission, and two-way chat.
ā¶ DECODE WITH YOUR CAMERA
Point your camera at any flashing light. The app samples brightness in real-time and translates the flashes into text. Adjustable threshold, zoom up to 10x, and exposure controls let you read a signal across a room, across a field, or in full darkness.
ā¶ SEND WITH YOUR FLASHLIGHT
Type a message and transmit it via flashlight or screen flash. 4 speed presets from 6 to 24 WPM. 24 quick-tap presets for emergency, status, navigation, and common phrases including SOS, Need Help, and I Am Safe.
ā¶ CHAT USING LIGHT
Two-way real-time conversation. One phone flashes, the other decodes. Messages appear in a chat interface with timestamps. Audio morse via speaker and microphone is supported too, for when line of sight isn't available.
ā¶ LEARN MORSE CODE
Practice with interactive quizzes in two directions: identify the code for a character, or the character from a code. Track accuracy, build streaks, and master every letter and number. Supports both international and Russian (Cyrillic) morse code.
ā¶ REFERENCE GUIDE
Complete morse code chart with letters AāZ, numbers 0ā9, punctuation, timing rules, and an SOS reference.
Morse code numbers are always five symbols:
1 = Ā·āāāā 2 = Ā·Ā·āāā 3 = Ā·Ā·Ā·āā 4 = Ā·Ā·Ā·Ā·ā 5 = Ā·Ā·Ā·Ā·Ā·
6 = āĀ·Ā·Ā·Ā· 7 = āāĀ·Ā·Ā· 8 = āāāĀ·Ā· 9 = āāāāĀ· 0 = āāāāā
The SOS distress signal is Ā·Ā·Ā· āāā Ā·Ā·Ā· ā three short, three long, three short.
ā¶ BINARY PROTOCOL
Advanced error-corrected communication. Manchester encoding with CRC-8 checksums for reliable transfer even in noisy conditions. The app auto-detects whether an incoming signal is standard morse or a binary packet.
ā¶ SAFETY
Photosensitive epilepsy warning on every launch. Screen-only safe mode. Flash frequency is hardware-limited.
