**Brick Calculation Formula:**
Bricks per sq.ft (9-inch wall) = 13.5 bricks (with mortar)
Bricks per sq.ft (4-inch wall) = 7 bricks (with mortar)
Total Bricks = Wall Area × Bricks per sq.ft × (1 + Wastage%)

**Example:**
Wall: 10 ft length × 10 ft height = 100 sq.ft
9-inch wall: 100 × 13.5 = 1,350 bricks
With 5% wastage: 1,418 bricks

Standard brick size in India is 9" × 4.5" × 3" (with mortar) or 9" × 4" × 3" (without mortar). Always add 5-10% wastage for breakage during transport and handling.
