Card Vision

Scan up to 12 graded or "raw" sports or TCG cards at a time!

Card Vision strives to make in-person buying and selling of cards more efficient by empowering dealers to scan up to 12 graded or non-graded Sports or TCG cards at a time (per image, non-graded requires front and back images) and making these cards publicly available for user search and wishlist functions within the app. Using AI technology to scan the images, we are able to maximize your time when scanning cards to your public inventory. When scanning your cards, you are able to add them to an event or shop and users can then search that location for your cards. Not interested in making your cards publicly available? Add them to your private inventory instead! Card Vision allows you to transfer the card from your public inventory to the user who purchased the card outside the app in real life. This ensures the card record is now tied to the buyer of your card(s) and they don’t have to scan the cards again, saving the buyer money from not having to scan again. We encourage everyone to start finding their grail cards before hitting the show floor!

CARD SCANNING

We use a dedicated AI solution to achieve our 12 card scanning results. This solution is capable of reading various types of Sports and TCG cards and producing details from the cards. With this being AI, there will be mistakes and we encourage our audience to reach out to us and let us know how we can improve (support@cardvision.io). Additionally, when AI makes a mistake, you are able to update the card details manually. We strive to achieve 90% accuracy, however when taking an image of up to 12 cards, some of the details can be difficult for AI to read due to the compressed nature of the cards within the single image.


EVENTS AND STORES

We encourage users to create events that they can’t already find on the event search page. Each event goes through an approval process but you can still scan to the event while waiting for approval.


INVENTORY

Card inventory can either be made private or public. Private inventory is available to only your account, while public inventory can be searched by other users.

CARD TRANSFERS

We understand the actual transaction of the card sale will happen in person. This prompted Card Vision to address what happens to the card record sitting in the seller/dealer’s account. We incorporated a way to transfer the card(s) record from seller to buyer so that way the buyer of the card(s) doesn’t have to scan again. This is a $.10 fee per card transfer.
