App Description

Board game on one phone: riddles, secret clues, Game Master. 50 free stories.

Looking for a party game that fits in your pocket and gets everyone talking? MysterQ turns a single phone into a mystery host for three to twenty players. No box to carry, no account to create: set up your group and start your first puzzling story within minutes.

MysterQ draws on the lateral thinking tradition behind Chinese turtle soup riddles (海龟汤, hǎiguītāng), where players rebuild a strange situation through careful questions. We also took inspiration from hidden-information party games such as Undercover, so every round feels alive from the start. Before the Game Master even reads the story hook, each detective receives a secret clue word on the phone, read alone, never shown to the table. That opening hint phase changes everything: nobody arrives empty-handed, threads connect faster, and the debate ignites sooner. We redesigned the guessing flow around this hint pass, including the option to review clues mid-game when the group gets stuck.

A match is easy to teach and hard to forget. The GM picks a mystery from the catalogue. Players pass the phone to read their personal clue. The GM then reads the opening hook to everyone else. Questions follow: the Game Master answers only yes, no, or irrelevant, guided by the full solution only they can see. Players propose explanations or pass. When someone reconstructs the truth, they score a point. Over a full round, every player serves as GM once, so the evening stays fair and inclusive.

The catalogue includes fifty free mysteries in English, tagged easy, medium, or hard. Filter stories you have already played, pick one at random, or browse at your own pace. Tales range from playful twists to darker hooks, all built for curious groups who enjoy logical deduction around one table. Save your regular crew, resume an interrupted session, track scores for the night, and browse party history. Four visual themes let you match the mood of your living room, light or dark.

MysterQ is built for game nights with friends, family gatherings with teens, clubs, and hosts who want a digital board game ready in seconds. One app, one device, full table participation. Your catalogue language follows your in-app choice among six supported languages, handy for travel or mixed groups.

Want more after the free set? A one-time Premium unlock adds one thousand extra mysteries on top of the fifty free stories, tied to your Google Play account with no subscription. Restore anytime from My account if you switch phones.

During play, the phone moves around the table in turn. The Game Master can reopen the hook at any moment, and the group may revisit secret clue words if the conversation stalls. Round scores reset when you begin a new round, while total scores accumulate across the whole evening, ideal for a long session or a quick rematch. Everything runs locally on your device: no Wi‑Fi required to play, no personal account on our servers, and no ads inside the app. MysterQ is recommended for ages twelve and up because some stories explore unsettling situations, always presented as fiction for deduction, never as guidance for real life.

MysterQ is an independent app published by LeadForge. It is inspired by group riddle traditions and existing party-game mechanics, including the spirit of games like Undercover, without claiming affiliation with any third-party publisher or ownership of the 海龟汤 genre. Download MysterQ, gather your detectives, choose the first GM, and let curiosity do the rest.
