Permanent TSB is now known as PTSB, this app update reflects our rebrand.
The Business24 Authenticator app provides a secure method of authentication for Business24 banking in order to further protect you against fraud and keep you safe online. The Business24 Authenticator app allows you to complete authentication by sending a push notification to your registered device (Smartphone or Tablet) for certain online processes.
If you’re a permanent tsb customer who’s registered for Business24 Online Banking you can download the app and register your device which will link your permanent tsb customer profile to your device which will then be used to provide authentication where necessary.
It’s important to note that our Business24 Authenticator app is for authentication purposes only, as an additional security enhancement. It cannot be used for other day to day banking purposes such as viewing your balance or to make payments.
Accessing the app:
• To log in to the Business24 Authenticator app you’ll need to be a permanent tsb customer who is registered for Business24 Online Banking. To register for Business24 Online Banking call us now on 1890 500 177 or +353 1 215 1363.
• Once logged in you will be prompted to register your device which will link your permanent tsb customer profile to your device.
• To complete registration you’ll need to enter a security code which you’ll receive via SMS to your registered mobile phone number. The following country codes are excluded from this service +53 Cuba, +98 Iran, +964 Iraq, +95 Myanmar, +963 Syria, +249 Sudan, +850 North Korea.
