However, Gerry on Github has developed a workaround to bypass the official server and keep your Slingbox in service for you. Once you have set up your slingbox, you can use the HelpSLbox Player on your android phone to connect to your slingbox for video viewing. After you set up the connection of HelpSLbox Player, you can connect to watch your video source in your slingbox.
