Photos (for Nextcloud)

Easily manage photos and videos on your Nextcloud server

- Metadata support even for non-JPEG media
Bundled with the Exiv2 library, this app supports reading metadata from image formats that are not currently supported by the server-side reader, such as HEIC and JXL. Video metadata is also supported.

- Better albums
Client-side albums provide extra features compared with server-side albums, like inserting memos and maps between photos. You can also customize album covers and sorting.

- Simple image editing
Includes various color adjustment tools and effect filters.

- JPEG XL support
JXL is a next-generation image format with superior compression ratio. While JXL is not currently supported by Nextcloud or Android, this app includes a JXL decoder.

The app source code is available on GitHib under the GPL license.
