Safety Observer is a tool for measuring workplace safety behavior and conditions

Safety Observer is a tool for measuring and improving workplace safety behavior and safety conditions. It can be used in a wide variety of sectors and settings. It shows the workplaces’ current level of safety expressed as the percentage of correct safety observations, which can be supported by notes, photos and smileys. Immediate results are provided on-screen and sent as a PDF report to your e-mail address. Results can directly be compared with results from previous measurements from the same or other workplaces. In the web-based ‘administrator’ module for the app you can customize your company’s own observation lists and administer results (PDF reports and Excel statistics). The lists can be accessed by your company’s ‘users’ for performing safety observations at various work sites.

The method is derived from the evidence-based Finnish TR-method, and the app was developed by safety scientific researchers from nfa.dk and amkherning.dk, in cooperation with industrial partners, and with software programming by Nordicode ApS (v. 3.0).
