Digital rupee (also known as CBDC) is a new form of currency launched by Reserve Bank of India. It is a digital version of cash issued by a RBI.

The Digital Rupee (e₹) will provide an additional option to the currently available forms of money. It is Digital form of currency and is easier, faster, and more secure to use. Using this app merchant will be able to receive Digital rupee in their wallets and that will be seamlessly transferred to their linked account with Axis Bank.
