App Description

Learn all world capitals with adaptive spaced repetition

Learning capital cities provides a clearer understanding of geography, world events and global relationships. Recognizing countries and their capitals helps make news easier to interpret and builds a solid foundation for further learning. This app offers a structured system designed for long-term retention, going far beyond simple quizzes.

At the core is an adaptive spaced repetition system that adjusts review intervals based on your actual memory performance. If you recall a capital after a longer interval than expected, the system increases the next interval. If you hesitate or make a mistake, the interval decreases without resetting your progress. This ensures efficient learning focused on your real needs.

Two learning modes are available. Multiple Choice allows quick practice and is ideal for building confidence through rapid feedback. Self-Assessment strengthens active recall: you view a question, attempt to retrieve the answer, and then judge whether you knew it, almost knew it or did not know it. This method is highly effective for long-term memory.

The content covers 200 capital cities organized by regions: America (36), Africa (57), Europe (45), Asia (48) and Oceania (14). You can freely select which regions to study and choose between two question directions: Country → Capital or Capital → Country. All settings can be changed at any time without losing progress.

Tests provide a clear evaluation of your knowledge. Each test presents all relevant items once, awarding silver or gold medals depending on performance. This makes it easy to track your improvement over time.

A full card browser is included for exploring and reviewing capitals independently of learning sessions.
