At its core is an adaptive spaced repetition system that adjusts repetition intervals to your actual recall patterns. If you reliably recall a word after a longer-than-expected interval, the system lengthens the next repetition. Conversely, if you are unsure or make a mistake, the interval shortens without resetting your progress. This allows you to focus your learning time precisely on the words you truly want to solidify.

Two learning modes are available. Multiple Choice enables quick practice sessions with immediate feedback and facilitates the introduction of new vocabulary. Self-assessment strengthens active recall: You see the word, try to remember its meaning or translation, and then evaluate whether you knew it, almost knew it, or didn't know it at all. This approach creates particularly lasting retention.

The content is organized thematically, for example, academic expressions, foreign words, literary terms, rhetorical devices, and sophisticated adjectives. Each card shows the word, its meaning, a short translation where applicable, and examples illustrating its usage. Categories can be flexibly switched on and off.

Tests provide transparent feedback on your learning progress. Each word in the selected category appears once, and depending on the result, you receive a silver or gold medal. Tests can be repeated as often as needed.
