App Description
Car mileage log for taxes, private. No GPS or account. Export PDF & CSV.
Mileage logs. No GPS tracking. Tax-ready exports.
Mileage Log is a manual-first mileage tracker for self-employed workers, consultants and anyone who drives for work. You log what matters in a few seconds. The app does not follow your location, needs no account, and keeps your trip log on your phone.
LOG A TRIP IN SECONDS
• Enter a distance, or start and end odometer readings
• Round trip switch doubles the distance for you
• Repeat your last trip or pick a saved favorite route
• Category per trip: business, personal, medical, charity
• Date, vehicle, from, to and purpose on every entry
• Clear error messages when a distance or reading is not valid
THE RIGHT IRS RATE FOR EVERY TRIP
For the United States, the 2026 IRS standard mileage rates are applied by trip date:
• January 1 – June 30, 2026: business 72.5¢/mi, medical 20.5¢/mi, charity 14¢/mi
• July 1 – December 31, 2026: business 76¢/mi, medical 23.5¢/mi, charity 14¢/mi
Each trip keeps the rate rule it was saved with, and the app shows the source and the date the rates were checked. Personal trips are never counted as deductible. Prefer your employer's reimbursement rate? Switch to your own rate per mile or per km at any time.

WHO USES THIS MILEAGE LOG APP
Built for the self employed: a self-employed mileage tracker for consultants, a work mileage tracker for employees who claim a reimbursement, a business mileage tracker for small companies, and a rideshare mileage tracker for drivers who log trips between jobs. If you keep a paper logbook in the glovebox, this is the same manual mileage tracker on your phone.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK
Is this a car mileage tracker that follows me? No. There is no GPS and no location permission: you type the distance, or the start and end odometer readings, and the odometer log stays on this device.
Can I use it as a tax mileage log? Yes. Each trip keeps the IRS mileage rate that applied on its date, so your business mileage log shows an estimated IRS mileage deduction per category. The IRS mileage rate and its source are shown in the app.
Do I need an account? No — it is a private mileage tracker with no account and no sign-up.
Does it work as a business mileage calculator? It totals distance and estimated amount per category, per month and per vehicle, and shows the result before you export.
How do I get my trips out? Pro adds a PDF mileage report and a CSV mileage export with every field, plus a JSON backup you can restore.
Mileage Log gives estimates based on the rates shown. It is not tax advice.
