PASTE THE RECIPE, DO NOT TYPE IT
Copy the ingredient list from a website, a message or your notes, tap paste, and the app reads the amounts, the units and the names on its own. That is the step every other scaler leaves to you, and it is the one that takes the time. Unit words are recognized in English and French; metric abbreviations such as g, kg, ml and l are read in any language.

SCALE TO THE SERVINGS YOU NEED
Set the original servings, set your target, and every amount follows. Cups, spoons and counted items appear as fractions a cook can read, 1 1/2 cups or 1/3 cup rather than 0.33. Grams and milliliters stay in decimals.

HOW MUCH PER GUEST

Cups to milliliters, ounces to grams, tablespoons to teaspoons. Built in, so you never leave the recipe you are working on. Converting between volume and weight, cups to grams for example, uses the density of water, so the result is an estimate for flour or sugar.

CHANGE OF PAN
A 24 cm round pan is not 1.2 times a 20 cm one, it is 1.44 times, because what matters is the surface. Round, square or rectangular, the app gives the right factor.

WORKS OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
Scaling and conversions are computed on the device, with no sign-in. Your recipes stay on the phone. The ads and usage statistics use the network.
