App Description

Play Offline Anywhere Anytime. Show Your Skill. Best Game For Time Pass

Truco is a lively and strategic trick-taking card game popular in South America, especially in Brazil and Argentina. Played with a 40-card Spanish deck, it combines bluffing, teamwork, and tactics. Below are the rules for the Brazilian version of Truco, suitable for 2 or 4 players (in teams of 2).

Objective: Be the first team to score 30 points by winning rounds.

Players: 2 or 4 (2 vs. 2), using a 40-card Spanish deck (no 8s, 9s, or 10s).

Deal: Each player gets 3 cards. The dealer rotates clockwise each round.

Rankings (highest to lowest):

Ace of Swords, Ace of Clubs, 7 of Swords, 7 of Gold ("manilhas").
3s, 2s, Aces (except Swords/Clubs), Kings, Knights, Jacks, 7s (except Swords/Gold), 6s, 5s, and 4s.
Gameplay:

Played in up to 3 hands per round. Players take turns playing one card. The highest card wins the hand. The first team to win 2 hands wins the round (1 point).
If tied, the next hand decides. If all 3 tie, no points are awarded.

Truco: At any time, a player can call "Truco" to raise the round’s value to 2 points. Opponents can accept, raise to "Retruco" (3 points), or fold (conceding 1 point). Retruco can escalate to "Vale Cuatro" (4 points).

Envido: Before playing cards, players can bet on hand strength (sum of two cards of same suit + 20, or the highest card). Options: Envido (2 points), Real Envido (3 points), Falta Envido (game ends). The highest score wins.

Winning: The first to 30 points wins. If tied, continue until a team leads.
