Say goodbye to tedious reading assessments with TARA!

TARA (Teacher's Assistant for Reading Assessment)

An automatic assessment tool for Early Grade Reading Assessment #EGRA/ Oral Reading Fluency Assessment #ORF as well as monitoring Foundational Literacy skills #FLN.

TARA allows teachers to record and assess students on level-appropriate stories. Once all students in a particular cohort are recorded, the recordings can be uploaded to generate reading report cards automatically for each student. Each report card contains a detailed breakup of scores on the following rubrics:
• WCPM (Words Correct Per Minute)
• Word mistakes
• Pace
• Expressiveness (Phrasing & Prominence/Emphasis)

Using individual student report cards, a report can also be generated to benchmark the reading performance of an entire cohort. Periodic formative assessments via TARA can help monitor the progress of a cohort over time as well as identify effective learning interventions.
