App Description
Sharpen your focus and find calm — brain training through sound
Pust! trains your brain to control focus. You build your own soundscape with a mixer and actively practice directing and shifting your attention between sound sources.
The app is based on two methods from clinical psychology:
Attention Training Technique (ATT)
Developed by Professor Adrian Wells. You complete sessions of 8, 10, or 12 minutes where you practice selective listening, rapid switching between sound sources, and divided attention. A voice guides you through each phase. The goal is to train your brain to let go of worry and rumination.
Selective Auditory Attention Tuning (SAAT)
You practice isolating individual signals in a complex sound environment. This sharpens focus and can reduce mental fatigue.
The mixer has 21 sound sources — nature, voices, rhythms, and generated noise. You adjust the volume of each source and can save your mixes as presets.
The app also includes:
- Breathing exercises with visual guides (Box Breathing, 4-7-8, and more)
- Silent meditation with timer and optional gong or voice cues
- Session history to track your progression
- Quick start to resume your previous session
