Assessment and Educational App for Mangroves

This mobile app has been developed by Reef Conservation with the technical support of Spoon Consulting Ltd under the SOS Mangrove programme. It has been designed to involve teachers, students, researchers, government agencies, NGOs, citizens and any interested organisations in mangrove monitoring in Mauritius and to raise awareness about the diversity and importance of this critical ecosystem.
By collecting data with this app, users will learn more about mangroves and researchers will get the opportunity to gather important information to fill knowledge gaps. It is therefore a win-win situation for both local and research communities.
