Kalimoo is a pocket kalimba with every sound free, and a world of small companions called Moo. Tap the tines, find a few notes you like, and make music at your own pace. No sheet music, no playing experience, and no sound packs to buy.
YOUR POCKET KALIMBA
The instrument fills the screen. Tap one tine, ring several together, or glide across the keys of your thumb piano. Choose 9 to 21 keys in the same layout and pitch as a real 17-key or 21-key kalimba, switch between C and F tuning, and label the keys with numbers, note names, or solfège.
EVERY SOUND, EVERY KEY, FREE
All instrument sounds, all key layouts, tuning, recording, and sharing are free, and stay free. No ads interrupt your playing. Some friends and scenes are extra; the instrument never is.
A FRIEND WHO ANSWERS IN MUSIC
Play a few notes, then leave a little space. Acorn, Butter Bunny, and Cozy Capy listen and reply with a short phrase of their own. Each friend has its own timing and character, so no two exchanges feel quite the same. You lead the conversation, and you can return to playing alone whenever you like.
MEET THE MOO
A cast of small companions lives in Kalimoo, each with its own look and mood. Choose a friend, spend time together in a cozy scene, and come back for the little moments between melodies. Music conversations are available with selected friends.
A PLACE THAT FEELS LIKE YOURS
Pick a scene and an instrument style, and try them on the live play surface before you decide. Your Moo's space is a quiet corner to return to.
KEEP THE MUSIC YOU MAKE
Record a short solo take, listen back, and share it as an audio file or a character card. Finished music conversations are saved so you can revisit them, and you can turn one into a postcard to share a little of your time together.
