Bishwakarma is a Hindu deity.

Bishwakarma is a Hindu deity. According to the Rig Veda, he is the embodiment of absolute truth and the god of creation. He is mentioned in the text as the architect of the universe and the divine creator of the universe.

Bishwakarma is mentioned in several places in Ramayana. As mentioned in Adikanda, Bishwakarma made two bows. The gods give one of them to Shiva and the other to Vishnu for killing Tripurasura. Vishnu gave his bow to Parasurama. Rama breaks Shiva's bow and marries Sita and puts a chord on the other bow to crush Parashuram's pride.

Indra killed Bishwarupa, the son of Bishwakarma. Samudra was another son of Bishwakarma who handed over the pipe to Rama for the purpose of bridging. The bridge over the sea was completed by the technique of the pipe.

Bishwakarma created Swarnalanka, Kangra painting, Anu. 185-60

The architectural masterpieces of Bishwakarma mentioned in the Ramayana are: the building of sage Agastya on the Kunjar mountain, the Alkapuri of Kubera on the Kailasa mountain and the city of Lanka. Besides, Bishwakarma built a flower plane for Brahma decorated with various ornaments. This aircraft was donated by Brahma to Kubera and Ravana inherited it from Kubera. Sahasrara Chakra is also the creation of Bishwakarma on the Chakraban mountain in the sea. Vishnu killed two demons named Panchajan and Hayagriva and took conch and chakra.
