App Description

Block Reels and Shorts. Stay focused and reduce screen time.

ScrollShield helps you stay focused by preventing access to distracting apps like Reels and Shorts.

If you often open social media for a few minutes and lose track of time, ScrollShield helps you take back control.

When blocking is active, ScrollShield prevents selected apps from opening. This helps you avoid distractions completely and stay committed to your work, study sessions, or personal goals.

Instead of uninstalling your favorite apps, you can simply control when and how you use them.

🔹 Key Features

• Block selected apps completely during focus sessions
• Prevent access to distracting short-form video content
• Focus Mode for deep work
• Custom schedules and strict mode
• Track your time saved and focus streak
• Simple and clean dark-mode interface

🔹 How It Works

Enable blocking, choose the apps you want to restrict, and ScrollShield will prevent them from opening while your focus session is active.

This creates a distraction-free environment so you can stay productive without interruptions.

🔹 Built for Focus

Perfect for:
• Students preparing for exams
• Professionals working on important tasks
• Anyone reducing screen time
• Anyone trying to stop endless scrolling

🔐 Privacy & Security

This app uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect when a short-form video app (such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok) is opened in the foreground. This is the only way to reliably identify which app is active without requiring root access. The Accessibility Service is used solely for app detection and blocking purposes. No screen content, personal data, keystrokes, or user inputs are read or collected.
