App Description

Alerts when company insiders buy or sell their own stock, from SEC filings.

Company directors, officers and large shareholders have to tell the SEC when they trade their own company's stock. Those filings are public — but they arrive as a firehose of paperwork, and by the time you find the one that matters, it is old news.

Outsider watches them for you.

WATCH THE COMPANIES YOU CARE ABOUT
Add tickers to your watchlist and get a notification when an insider at one of those companies reports a purchase or a sale. Set a minimum value so a director's small routine sale does not wake you up, and choose whether you want buys, sells, or both.

CLUSTER ALERTS
The more interesting signal is rarely one filing. It is several insiders at the same company moving the same way in the same week. That pattern is genuinely hard to spot by hand, because it only exists once you line up filings that arrive days apart.

Outsider detects it for you and tells you when it happens. On Pro you choose how many insiders count as a cluster and how wide the window is.

MARKET-WIDE CLUSTERS
Outsider can watch every covered company, not only your list. When insiders start buying together somewhere you have never looked, you hear about it — around two alerts a day.

This one is not reserved for paying users. A free account gets market-wide buy clusters at fixed settings: four or more insiders buying the same company inside a week. Pro is what lets you lower the threshold, include sells, and change the window.

ALERT HISTORY
Every alert is kept, marked clearly as a buy or a sell, so you can look back at what happened and when you were told.

START WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Browse anonymously: the whole live feed, every ticker's history and the search are open with no account and no sign-up.

A free account adds the parts that need somewhere to send to — a watchlist of 2 tickers, and cluster alerts when several insiders buy the same company at once. Paid plans add per-filing alerts and settings of your own.

PLANS
• Free — browse with no account; free sign-in adds 2 tickers and buy-cluster alerts
• Pro (EUR 3.99/month) — 20 tickers, filing alerts, cluster alerts on your own terms
• Pro+ (EUR 9.99/month) — 100 tickers, everything in Pro, plus market-wide alerts on individual filings

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time in Google Play.

NO ADS, NO TRACKING FOR SALE
There is no advertising in Outsider and no advertising identifier is collected. Usage analytics are off unless you switch them on. We do not sell your data, and your watchlist is never shared with an analytics service.

ABOUT THE DATA
Filings come from public SEC Form 4 records. Insiders have up to two business days to file, and our own collection adds a little more, so data is not real-time and is not suitable for time-sensitive trading. Filings are sometimes amended or contain errors.

IMPORTANT
Outsider is an information tool. It is not investment advice and does not recommend buying or selling anything. An insider buying is not a reason to buy, and insiders sell for many reasons that say nothing about the company. You can lose money trading securities. Any decision you make with your money is yours.
