A Personal Project

I've been building Android apps for 15 years. You might know some of my other apps, including Shuttle Music Player and Muzei Music Extension. I built Shuttle Podcasts because I wanted a podcast player that's simple, fast and delightful.

When Google Podcasts shut down, nothing quite hit the spot, so I built something for myself. It's been working well for me for a while now, and I've been polishing it into something I can be proud of.

The Shuttle Philosophy

Just like Shuttle Music Player, the app respects your battery and your privacy. It uses the latest Android tools and standards — built in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, Media3 for playback, and Material 3 design. It feels like the app came with your phone.
