Today, Sodexo is launching Salus App that allows safety walks and near misses to be recorded on the go.

A Near Miss is an Unsafe Act (action/behaviour) or Unsafe Condition (situation) that did not result in injury or illness, but had the potential to do so, therefore it is so important to record them in Salus App.

A safety walk involves talking with workers in the place where the work is being done. The objective is to engage in a conversation about the work they are doing and to discuss how it can be made safer and easier. When performing a safety walk, you must set example of safe behavior including wearing any required PPE, following all safety rules and taking care not to create any risk for the workers. Salus App will help you to conduct Safety walks.

Salus app is a good opportunity to improve our sites’ ability to record and manage injuries and safety nets in a second step. Salus App helps you to measure your HSE performance on site.
