Forgot your student ID? That’s a thing of the past! With the University of Bremen App, you always have your relevant identification with you digitally—even without an internet connection.


Current Student ID
Student ID always available
Your ID remains automatically valid as long as you are enrolled. No internet connection? No problem. The ID remains accessible offline for up to 30 days.

European Student Card
With the integrated European Student Card, you can prove your student status at any time while traveling or studying in other European countries.

Deutschlandsemesterticket
The Deutschlandsemesterticket is also included, allowing you to travel on public transport throughout all of Germany.

Emergency Notifications
In the event of an emergency, the University of Bremen will inform you quickly and directly via critical alert notifications.

Tamper-Proof Security
Special security features, such as screenshot protection and verification through the Campus Management System, ensure that the digital ID is secure against forgery.

Your data is safe:
Naturally, all requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are strictly followed: Personal data (such as your name or student ID number) is never stored on the app's servers. The app simply displays this information via interfaces with the University of Bremen’s existing systems. To ensure you don't have to log in every time you open the app, your login credentials are encrypted and stored locally in a secure area provided by your mobile operating system. This data is never shared with third parties. GDPR compliance is verified through annual data protection audits conducted by TÜV Süd.
