The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) states in a hadith:

مَنْ تَمَسَّكَ بِسُنَّتِي عِنْدَ فَسَادِ أُمَّتِي فَلَهُ أَجْرُ مِائَةِ شَهِيدٍ.

"Whoever hugs my sunnah at a time when my nation has been dismissed (broken), there is one hundred martyrs of him."
