Condition-based formulary for healthcare professionals in East and West Region
Developed with input from formulary users across NHS Scotland, this app presents condition-based formulary recommendations that align medicine choices to the treatment of the patient.
This app is currently being used within the East Region (NHS Borders, Fife and Lothian) and West Region (NHS Ayrshire & Arran, Dumfries & Galloway, Forth Valley, Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Lanarkshire). Switch between regional formularies using the map pin icon at the top of the screen. For formulary recommendations in other Health Board areas, please follow local guidance.
Use the menu bar at the bottom of the screen to browse the formulary by:
- Therapeutic Area
- Condition name
- Medicine name (use a generic medicine name to access condition-based recommendations)
- Formulary Decisions (search for the outcome of medicine decisions made by the Formulary Committee)
