✦ Managed App Settings

The first step to establishing habits is creating your own rules.

You can group apps that require time management, like Instagram, YouTube, and webtoons, and manage them.

Give each group a nickname and manage them all at once.

✦ Set Usage Time (Session Timer)

When you launch an app in a "group," you'll be asked, "How much time do you plan to use?"

Plan your usage time to the exact amount you truly need, and start using it. What was once an unconscious app usage has now become a conscious choice.

✦ End Reminder and 5-Minute Delay

When the promised time arrives, the app will end. Build up the experience of keeping your promises.
Still want to spend a little more time? The "5 More Minutes" feature allows you to extend the time as needed.
However, you can only extend it up to two times, so use it wisely :)

✦ Cooldown Period

Once all time has expired, Brake!'s core feature, the "Cooldown Period," begins.
During this three-minute break, you can't use any apps in the group.
It's a short break, but it allows you to break the dopamine cycle, cool down your overheated brain, and escape the stimuli of your smartphone.

◆ Accessibility Service Permission Notice

Brake! utilizes the Accessibility Service permission (Accessibility API) to collect information about the currently running app's name and usage status in order to enable the "Session Timer" feature when the user starts using the app. This permission allows the app to determine which app is currently running on the screen and, if it's a "managed app" pre-configured by the user, display the "Session Timer" above it.
The collected information is used solely for the purpose of providing the "Session Timer" feature and never collects any other personal information.
