App Description

Save tabs, links & screenshots for later. Offline bookmark manager, pay once.

Close the tab โ€” Tidemark keeps it. An offline app for saving tabs, links and screenshots โ€” for people running 200 browser tabs as a memory crutch.

Stop hoarding tabs you'll never reopen. Stop losing screenshots in your gallery. Share any link, image or file into Tidemark, mark it Buy / Decide / Read / Do, set an optional reminder, and clear it later in seconds.

Tired of cluttered save-for-later inboxes, ad-stuffed bookmark managers and subscription notes apps that want your data? Tidemark runs entirely on your phone. No account. No cloud sync. No analytics. No ads.

What you can save
- Tabs and links from any browser via the share sheet
- Screenshots and gallery images (Pro: OCR makes the text searchable)
- PDFs, audio, video, arbitrary files
- Plain text and quick ideas

Free, fully usable
- Share-sheet capture from any app or browser
- Intent tags โ€” Buy, Decide, Read, Do โ€” so you remember the *why*, not just the link
- Unlimited one-time reminders โ€” no cap on the free tier
- Swipe to mark done or archive
- Title search across active cards
- Four home-screen widgets: Quick-Add, Active Count, Add from Clipboard, one-a-day Triage
- Import: browser bookmarks or a plain URL list, previewed before anything saves
- JSON and CSV export, JSON restore via the share sheet
- 100% offline โ€” no account, no network, no ads, no tracking

Tidemark Pro โ€” one-time unlock, no subscription
- Unlimited cards (free tier is capped at 30)
- Full-text search across content, notes and history
- OCR for images and screenshots โ€” the text becomes searchable card content, on-device
- Recurring reminders โ€” daily, weekly or monthly
- Reminder snooze from the notification โ€” 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week
- Voice capture โ€” speak it straight into a card
- Card pinning so the things that matter stay on top
- Share cards as an image, minus the Tidemark footer
- Notes rendered as Markdown โ€” headings, lists, links, bold, italic, code
- Insights โ€” active count, weekly throughput, oldest card, completion rate
- Auto-archive cards per intent after N days you set
- Quick Settings tile to capture from the notification shade
- Biometric app lock (fingerprint or face)
- Custom intent tags beyond the four built-ins
- Sage and System themes (the brand Tide theme is free)
- Two Pro home-screen widgets: top-of-stash list, intent-filtered list

Why intent tags?
Most save-for-later apps treat everything the same: one inbox, one "later". Tidemark asks the only question that matters: *why* did you save this? Tagging at capture time makes triage a matter of seconds, not an evening.

What Tidemark doesn't do
Tidemark saves and organises links โ€” it doesn't fetch or render article text; a card opens the link in your browser. Want the words themselves? Screenshot the article and share it back in โ€” Pro's on-device OCR makes that text searchable.

Why offline?
Your stash is private by definition. What you save reveals what you care about and what you're researching. Tidemark stores everything in a local database on your phone and uploads nothing itself โ€” not OCR text, not voice transcriptions, not screenshots, not the JSON or CSV export. Tidemark's own network access goes only to Google Play: to verify a Pro purchase, and to show the rating prompt.

Note: Android's own backup (System > Backup), if you have it on, includes Tidemark's data โ€” that is Android's upload, not Tidemark's, encrypted with your device passcode.

Why pay-once?
A save-for-later tool shouldn't be a subscription. Tidemark Pro is a one-time unlock โ€” buy it, keep it.

Designed for
- People with chronic tab overflow on Android โ€” the 200-tabs-open crowd
- Anyone leaving a browser's bookmarks or a dying read-later app
- Privacy-minded users who refuse cloud sync for personal notes

Save tabs, save links, close tabs, tab manager, save screenshots, bookmark manager, import bookmarks, offline, pay once. Whatever you call it โ€” Tidemark is the offline, private, pay-once Android app for the things you keep meaning to get back to.
