ImMigRanT, Immediate Migrants Resources and Tools

ImMigRanT, Immediate MigrantsResources and Tools, is a project conceived to support immigrants providing them with simple communication tools to help them face any potential medical emergency they are not able to manage as they miss contacts and references.

To this end, ImMigRant designed a Smartphone App allowing immigrants to handle medical emergencies quickly and efficiently by making use of comic strips illustrating several injury cases or emergency situations, from the simplest to the most serious. The use of cartoons make simple information available regardless of language barriers.

The App of ImMIGrAnT is an immediate and efficient tool helping immigrants handle the first medical emergencies with visual messages (comic strips) and eliminate language hurdles.
The comic strips-cartoons illustrate what has to be done in case of a medical emergency, situations of discomfort or natural disasters.
Whoever is in another Country, even on a temporary basis and without knowing that Country’s healthcare system, having the first emergency contact or speaking the language, can use the App as a valid support to quickly face any medical emergency.
