Pure Sorani Kurdish keyboard. Marks foreign words and offers Kurdish ones.

Gochan (گۆچان) is a Sorani Kurdish keyboard that helps you write pure, correct Kurdish.

FOREIGN WORDS, MARKED AS YOU TYPE
Gochan notices words borrowed from other languages while you type and offers the Kurdish word to use instead. Every suggestion is a word found in the Hejar or Xal dictionaries.

THE GOLDEN CROOK
One tap on the golden crook in the suggestion bar turns the paragraph you are writing into correct, pure Kurdish.

MADE FOR SORANI
• The full Sorani layout, with long-press for the extra letters
• Kurdish, Arabic, Persian and English layouts, a tap on the globe apart
• Emoji, with your recent ones first
• Hold the space bar to move the cursor
• Light and dark, following your phone, or a colour of your own
• Its own key sound and vibration, each with a switch

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The keyboard and its dictionary work on your phone, with no internet. Nothing you type leaves your phone, except a paragraph you choose to send with the golden crook.

TURNING IT ON
Open Gochan, tap "Enable keyboard" and switch Gochan on, then "Choose keyboard".
