It can be used during day-to-day operations in multiple ways:
- It helps ground handlers allocate people and equipment and set accurate and realistic Target Off-Block Times (TOBT). In turn, this helps other people in operations. For instance, air traffic controllers, who base their take-off planning on TOBT.
