Audio / Podcast Recorder Pro is an audio recording and monitoring app for podcasters, journalists, and field recording users. It is designed for situations where you need direct control over input selection, output routing, recording quality, playback, and editing. The app covers the full workflow from recording and monitoring through to review, editing, mixing, and export.
While it can be used in a simple way for simple tasks, this is not a simple voice recorder. It is a compact mobile audio suite with asymmetric routing, live monitoring, playback/editing, multi-track mixing, export, and creator tools
- Record: Record in WAV or M4A/AAC with selectable sample rate and bitrate options.
- Input and Output Routing: Select input and monitoring devices separately, so a USB microphone does not automatically take over your speaker or headphone output.
- Live Monitoring: Monitor incoming audio in real time and adjust input gain and output volume before or during a take.
- Audio Preview: Check incoming audio with waveform, equalizer, and pitch displays.
- Recording Controls: Start, pause, resume, and stop recordings with support for longer sessions and interrupted-session recovery.
- History: Browse, search, favourite, rename, share, and replay saved recordings.
