ShiftClock is a native Android app for tracking work hours and calculating pay with full support for overtime, double time, union benefits, and payroll verification. Built with Jetpack Compose for a fast, responsive experience that works entirely offline.

Track your hours with a single tap. The live clock shows your current session, daily totals, weekly progress toward 40 hours, and real-time overtime alerts. Punch breaks separately, log fatigue or per diem days, or add manual entries for past shifts.

**Built for Union Workers**
ShiftClock understands your CBA. Configure overtime and double time multipliers, holiday pay rates, Saturday/Sunday premiums, show-up time guarantees, per diem, shift differentials, and employer-paid benefits (Health & Welfare, Pension, Annuity, Apprenticeship Fund). Set it up once, then export your CBA profile and share it with your entire crew.

**Per-Project Pay Isolation**
Each project tracks overtime independently. If you work two jobs in the same week with different clients and different week start days, each project calculates its own OT threshold — no cross-project hour mixing that inflates or hides your real overtime.

**Apprentice Progress Tracking**
Monitor your hours toward journeyperson status. Set your apprentice percentage, track cumulative hours, and see your next milestone threshold — all tied to your active project.

**Detailed Reports & Pay Estimates**
Generate weekly, biweekly, or monthly pay period reports with full breakdowns: regular, overtime, and double time hours; gross pay; per diem; night differential; employer-paid benefits; and estimated federal tax withholding. Filter reports by project, view daily bar charts, and track weekly earnings goals.

**Pay Stub Reconciliation**
Enter your actual paychecks to compare estimated vs. real take-home pay. Add each deduction from your stub — union dues, pension, health & welfare, taxes — and the app highlights discrepancies between your tracked gross and what you received.

**Project & Client Management**
Create unlimited projects, link them to clients, set per-project pay rates and OT rules, configure project-specific tax settings, and add notes for contract details, local union number, and foreman info. Switch between active projects with one tap from the clock screen.

**Mileage & Expense Tracking**
Log daily mileage with the current IRS standard rate. Track job-site expenses by category. View cumulative totals and export as CSV for tax filing.

**Export Everything**
Export reports as CSV or PDF. Back up your complete data (settings, entries, projects, clients, mileage, expenses) as JSON. Import backups on a new device to pick up right where you left off.

**Works Offline — Your Data Stays on Your Device**
The entire app runs locally with no internet required. No accounts, no cloud sync, no subscriptions. Your time data never leaves your phone unless you export it.

- Union/CBA Mode: Full feature set with OT/DT multipliers, holiday pay, per diem, apprentice tracking, employer benefits, CBA profiles, and pay stub reconciliation.
- Basic Mode: Simplified time tracking with clock in/out, overtime after 40 hours, and pay estimates. Switch between modes anytime without losing data.
