Input unreadable kanji characters based solely on their shape. This keyboard includes all 102,998 CJK kanji characters in Unicode.

Kanji characters whose readings you don't know cannot be typed on a regular keyboard.

Shape input is a keyboard that allows you to look up kanji characters based solely on their shape.

■ How to use it: Just choose two things
Select the "shape (relative position)," then select the "component."

　Left/Right + Sun + Moon → Bright
　Up/Down + Roof + Child → Character
　Full Enclosed + 囗 + Jade → Country

Even without knowing the reading at all, you can find the desired character based on its shape.

■ All 102,998 CJK Kanji in Unicode

From basic (URO) to extended A-J and compatibility characters, 100% of all CJK kanji defined by Unicode are included. Even rare characters appearing in personal names, place names, classical texts, and academic texts can be looked up if you know their shape.

For ease of use as a Japanese input method, the 13,108 commonly used kanji characters are always displayed first.

■ Includes components that cannot be typed individually
Radicals such as 氵, 艹, 辶, and 阝 cannot be typed individually on a kana keyboard. Katachi Input has a dedicated keyboard for these components, allowing you to assemble them directly from the components. A component palette searchable by stroke count is also available.

■ Data does not leave the device
All searches are completed within the device. Since no communication functions are implemented, the entered content is never sent externally. It does not require "full access" to the keyboard.
