The CLEP Humanities exam can allow students to test out of or satisfy requirements pertaining to college-level literature, art, and music. CLEP exams can save students time and money by allowing them to prove that they already have knowledge on a given subject.

The free Varsity Tutors CLEP Humanities app for Android-powered smartphones and tablets tests and reinforces that knowledge to prepare students for the 90-minute exam, using material and content created by humanities professionals.

The app simulates the Humanities CLEP exam by assessing students’ knowledge of literature, including drama, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction; the visual arts, including painting, sculpture, and architecture; and the performing arts, including music, film, and dance. The CLEP test also requires students to have a broad range of humanities knowledge across various time periods: Classical, Medieval and Renaissance, and the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.

Take full-length practice and diagnostic exams, or narrow your focus to analyzing the content of drama in literature or the identification of important figures in Baroque music. Each test you take in the app is saved using the Tests Taken feature, which allows you to track your progress and improvement. Diagnostic exams provide detailed feedback on scores by concept area, and they also offer explanations for questions you may have missed.
