The FeedComp app includes a feature called "drop audio," which plays a warning sound when a specified amount of feed is left to load or drop. This audio cue warns the operator to slow down the load or drop, which allows them to keep their eyes focused on the feed they are loading or dropping, instead of having to closely watch the scale weight on the device screen. This improves efficiency and focus during a feeding cycle. For this feature to be used, the app requires the foreground media playback permission.
