Permissions and optional features
- On supported devices, Velto can optionally detect payment-related SMS messages to help speed up expense capture when the user enables this feature and grants additional permissions
- Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a receipt photo
- Notification permission is used for budget alerts, payment-related reminders, and visible sync progress
- Foreground data sync is used only for user-initiated tasks such as backup, restore, import, export, and receipt upload
- The core expense tracking, budgeting, receipt import, and currency features remain available without SMS access
