App Description

Vybit sends personalized sound notifications. Put the information in the sound!

Vybit (VIBE-it) sends personalized sound notifications to your under-utilized ears so that your over-worked eyes can get a break! Sure, our devices already make app-generic notification sounds, but then we have to grab our phone and look down to process the details.

With Vybit you will know EXACTLY what the sound means because YOU RECORD THE SOUND OR CHOOSE THE SOUND from thousands of quality, searchable sounds!

Vybs (vibes) are triggered by any Internet service that supports outgoing webhooks, e.g., IFTTT and Zapier. Vybs can also be shared, e.g., with your spouse to let him/her know you are on your way home, with your team to alert them that the database server just went kaput, or with your customers to announce a new product release. DevOps folks can easily integrate Vybit into RMMs or directly curl/wget vybs from closer to the metal.

Humans can recognize thousands of distinct sounds. The purpose of Vybit is to take advantage of this capability. Each individual sound, i.e., VIBE, that you choose is connected to a specific event, or "BIT" of information, ergo, Vybit! :)
