Coordinate calculation and instrument height-based leveling field notebook. Includes SIMA/CSV import verification, reverse calculation, coordinate area calculation, and CSV output. One-time purchase.
SIMA is a surveying field notebook app for coordinate calculation and instrument-level field notebooks used in Japanese surveying sites. Coordinates and field notebook data are saved on the device, and calculations can be performed offline.

Save level notebooks per site. Changes in input recalculate results, and undo/redo functions are supported. Ground elevation can be output as a CSV file, and edited in a table format on larger screens.
Select two points on the coordinate diagram and calculate the distance and direction angle. Inputs and results can be checked from the site history. Coordinate area, radial calculation, and forward resection are also supported.
Automatically detects Shift-JIS/UTF-8 encoding for SIMA and CSV files. Before saving, it checks for unreadable rows and duplicate points, allowing you to choose whether to retain or replace the same point number. The original file can be stored and shared without modification. Plots and connections are not editable; the edited SIMA output only includes coordinates.
The free version allows manual coordinate input, inverse calculation, coordinate area calculation, and import of up to 50 points per import. The Pro version is a one-time purchase and includes unlimited import, SIMA output, radial calculation, forward intersection, and leveling field book and CSV output. There are no ads or recurring subscriptions. Purchase restoration is supported.
All sites can be backed up from the settings. Please verify survey results using the proper procedures. Leveling field book verification is arithmetic verification and not a closed difference with known endpoint elevations.
