App Description

Use spatial audio, headphone calibration, and parametric equalizer system-wide

PrecisEQ is designed to deliver professional audio effects when used with other music players. It allows users to enjoy the convenience of streaming services and the high sound quality of professional DSP at the same time, without requiring root access.

PrecisEQ supports:

- Spatial Audio: Uses real-time HRTF computation and cross-convolution four-channel “True Stereo IR” to simulate headphones as a pair of 2.0 speakers and reconstruct a realistic and accurate sound field. Supports simulation of arbitrary azimuth angles and importing custom SOFA files.

- Headphone Calibration: Based on a proprietary high-precision headphone database and supports switching custom headphone repositories, changing target frequency responses, sharing or importing custom target responses, and providing a visual frequency response editor.

- Parametric Equalizer: Touch-enabled and fully visualized, balancing professional capability with ease of use. Supports an unlimited number of EQ bands, allows setting the filter type, gain, and Q value for any band, and all IIR filters are designed to be minimum-phase.
