App Description
Ear training offline. Real instruments, One-time purchase, no subscription.
Stop guessing. Start hearing.
Open the app. Pick the intervals you want to practise. Hit start. That's it. No account, no sign-up, no tutorial you can't skip. You're training your ear within 10 seconds of installing.
Want to drill Minor 2nd vs Major 2nd before a theory exam tomorrow? Just select those two and go. Want to practise all 13 intervals at once? Go for it. Chords, scales, same thing. You pick exactly what you need, when you need it.
Most ear training apps make you create an account, sit through onboarding, or lock basic practice behind a paywall. We don't. The free practice trainers are fully open from the start.
BUT IF YOU WANT STRUCTURE
Not everyone knows what to practise. That's fine too. The guided interval plan gives you a step-by-step curriculum that starts with just two intervals and builds from there. Each group introduces at most two new ones. You need 80% accuracy on recent attempts to move on. Spaced repetition handles the rest, showing you the ones you struggle with more often and the ones you've nailed less often.
Five minutes a day is enough. Open the app, do your daily session, close it. Your ear gets sharper without thinking about what to practise next.
SOUNDS THAT ACTUALLY SOUND GOOD
We spent a lot of time on this. You train with high quality sampled piano, violin, flute, and acoustic guitar. Not cheap MIDI beeps. Real instrument recordings that sound like what you'd hear in a practice room. You can preview every interval and chord before a session, and adjust note duration to match how you like to listen.
Good sound matters. If the notes sound fake, your ear learns the wrong thing.
WHAT YOU CAN TRAIN
Intervals: all 13, from unison to octave. Ascending, descending, and harmonic. Pick how many answer choices you want.
Chords: triads, sevenths, and custom chords you build yourself.
Scales: major, minor, modes, and custom scales.
SEE WHERE YOU STRUGGLE
The confusion map shows which intervals you mix up with each other. Not just a score, but a grid that tells you "you keep confusing Minor 2nd with Major 2nd" so you know exactly what to work on. Track your accuracy over time and watch yourself get better.
WORKS OFFLINE
Everything runs on your device. No account needed, no internet needed after install. Practice on the bus, in a practice room, on a plane. Your progress stays on your phone.
NO SUBSCRIPTION
This is a one-time purchase app. Free users get the full guided plan, all three practice trainers, and daily sessions. Premium unlocks unlimited sessions, full analytics, all instruments, custom scales and chords, and a streak shield.
Pay once, keep it forever. Every future feature included.
Founders pricing is live right now. It will go up as the app grows, so early supporters get the best deal. The whole thing costs less than one music lesson.
WHO USES THIS
Guitar players learning to pick out melodies by ear. Piano students prepping for aural skills exams. Producers who want to hear chord progressions without looking them up. People who just need to quickly drill a specific interval before a lesson. Beginners who tried other ear training apps and bounced because they had to sign up before they could do anything.
Built by an amateur musician who needed this app and couldn't find it.
